Dining in Lochaber

Fort William has many great eating establishments on the High Street and around the town. But, to get a true flavour of the Highlands, we recommend you venture further afield.

Kilcamb Lodge: Nestled in it’s own estate, Kilcamb Lodge has been voted one of the best Restaurants in Scotland. Taking inspiration from the Glens and Lochs around him, and using locally sourced ingredients, the head chef has been awarded 3AA Rosettes. The restaurant features in the Michelin Guide.

The White House: Further down the Ardnamurchan Coast in Lochaline is The White House Restaurant, which features taster menus up to 6 courses. They advertise food which is responsibly produced, carefully sourced and simply served.

The Glenuig Inn: Famous for its cakes, breads and desserts, all made on the premises, and their food is served with a twist! They also have a large selection of Real Ales, organic wines, natural soft drinks, Scottish Highland and Island gins and a wide range of Scottish single un-chillfiltered malt whiskies.

The Old Library: Situated in Arisaig is a cheerful restaurant with its stone and white-washed walls and is the hub of the village. The food is Bistro style and Chef uses as much of the abundance of local produce as possible. Friendly restaurant with imaginative dishes – modern Scottish with French touch.
